The Outrigger Reef on the Beach

The beachfront Outrigger Reef invites couples to Hoi Hou Ke Aloha, a ceremony to renew their wedding vows. This complimentary ceremony is held every Tuesday and Friday morning at 8 AM (schedule subject to change), on Waikiki Beach in front of the hotel.

The Outrigger Reef also offers surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, and catamaran cruises (surcharges), as well as complimentary introductory scuba-diving lessons. The hotel features a pool and sundeck, a fitness center, and three on-site spa tubs. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in all meeting rooms, the lobby, and the pool area.

Lobby diversions at this Honolulu hotel include Hawaiian music, hula, and craft demonstrations; shopping; a pool table; display cases of Hawaiian calabash bowls; an interactive humpback whale kiosk; and a day spa (surcharge). Guests are greeted to this island environment by a newly added (November 2008) porte cochere, featuring a Polynesian Canoe house.

Blue carpets and Hawaiian-quilt-motif bedspreads complement wood furniture. Some simple saver rooms and standard rooms have no lanais or views. All other rooms at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach have lanais. Bathrooms feature full-sized tubs and made-in-Hawaii bath products.
